Herb Alpert, gira y disco pero en Estados Unidos

Herb Alpert

Poco se puede decir a estas alturas del californiano Herb Alpert, con 80 años a sus espaldas, el que un día fundara el sello A&M junto a Jerry Moss, ha sido una de las personalidades más importantes del mundo de la música.

Con más de 50 años a sus espaldas grabando discos, el genial trompetista vuelve el 25 de septiembre con Come fly with me. Con un primer single, Love Affair que ya suena en las emisoras especializadas, pero en Estados Unidos, el disco salió a finales de 2014 en Europa.

En el disco, que contiene 7 canciones originales, también hay algún que otro cover como Something de los Beatles o Blue skies de Irving Berlin, además de la canción que da título al disco, que hiciera popular Frank Sinatra. El trabajo está co-producido por Eduardo del Barrio.
