Lauren Alaina, Dustin Lynch y Brothers Osborne han anunciando durante el Good Morning America las nominaciones a la 51 edición de los premios de CMA, donde Miranda Lambert ha sido la artista más nominada, con 5 nominaciones, seguida de Keith Urban con 5 o 4, en función de si se cuenta doble la de single del año como artista y productor y Little Big Town con 4.
Lambert y Urban compiten en casi las mismas categorías, music video of the year, single of the year y song of the year. Además Taylor Swift consigue su primera nominación a los CMA en 3 años, gracias a ser la compositora en Better Man, de Little Big Town.
Esta nueva edición de los premios de la Country Music se celebrará en Nashville, en el Bridgestone Arena el próximo 8 de noviembre, con los habituales Brad Paisley y Carrie Underwood como presentadores, ya por décima vez. Hay que resaltar que mientras que en la nominación al álbum del año, hay mujeres en 5 de los discos, sin embargo en el premio más importante del año, Entertainer of the Year, son todos hombres, curioso.
