Pet Shop Boys han anunciado el lanzamiento de sus dos nuevas reediciones de catálogo, para el 20 de octubre. Las llamadas The further listening editions, serán la de Yes de 2009 y la de Elysium de 2012. Se lanzarán en doble y triple CD, para descarga digital y en vinilo. Hay que recordar que el dúo reeditará sus 11 álbumes de estudio.
Solo las versiones extendidas en CD tendrán todas las rarezas, demos ý demás novedades. En vinilo por ejemplo, solo están los discos remasterizados. Las primeras reediciones llegaron hace un mes, y fueron Nightlife, Release y Fundamental, que entraron en la lista británica de álbumes, e incluso llegaron al top 50 de la lista española.
Los seis discos restantes que quedan Please, Actually, Introspective, Behaviour, Very y Bilingual, fueron los primeros que se reeditaron en su momento en 2001, esas reediciones volverán a salir remasterizadas, pero su contenido no cambiará con lo que se publicó hace 16 años.
