Se entregaron los Ivor Novello Awards, los premios que se entregan a compositores, letristas y autores principalmente británicos e irlandeses y ya en su edición número 63. El gran triunfador fue Ed Sheeran que ganó el premio a la canción más puesta en radios principalmente, emitida y pinchada en online y al compositor del año, el premio más importante.
Aunque el premio al álbum del año fue a parar a Stormzy por su álbum Gang Signs and Prayer. También hubo premios para Shane MacGowan, Billy Bragg, Cathy Dennis, Billy Ocean, Elbow y Lionel Richie.
