Los Beatles después del éxito el año pasado, con la reedición del Sgt. Pepper’s por el 50 aniversario, volverán el 9 de noviembre a repetir jugada con a publicación de una nueva edición del White Album.
La nueva edición que conmemora también, el 50 aniversario del doble álbum, se publicará el 9 de noviembre en varias ediciones, una de 7 discos, con 50 nuevas grabaciones, muchas de ellas nunca antes publicadas, 27 demos en acústico, con una nueva mezcla 5.1, otra edición de 4 vinilos, una deluxe de 3 CDs y una doble en vinilo, además de en digital. Con nuevos mixes en stereo, con mezclas de Giles Martin, el hijo de George Martin.
Para la ocasión se han publicado tres diferentes mixes de Back in the USSR. El disco original se publicó el 22 de noviembre de 1968
