Se han dado a conocer las nominaciones a los American Music Awards, los que vota la gente, sobre nominaciones hechas en base a cómo han funcionado los artistas en listas en el último año en los Estados Unidos, los premios que nacieron en los años 70 como competencia contra los Grammy por un problema de derechos de televisión, y que perdieron parte de su sentido cuando Billboard lanzó sus premios en los años 90, ya que la base es la misma y la producción del evento igual.
Eso sí, en teoría sobre nominaciones cerradas, y luego vota el público. Tras este rollo, Post Malone lidera con 7 nominaciones por delante de Ariana Grande y Billie Eilish con 6. Taylor Swift tiene cinco nominaciones, y si al menos gana dos, será la artista con más trofeos de la historia, por delante de Michael Jackson. A partir de ahora se puede votar aquí
El plazo termina el 20 de noviembre. Los AMAs este año se entregarán el 24 de noviembre en el Microsoft Theater en Los Ángeles en la ABC como no podía ser de otra manera.
