MTV ha anunciado las nominaciones a sus Video Music Awards. Ariana Grande y Lady Gaga lideran las nominaciones con 9. Billie Eilish y The Weeknd tienen 6 cada uno. La pandemia se hace notar en dos nuevas categorías, Best Music from Home y Best Quarantine Performance.
Por cierto la única artista española con nominación es Rosalía con A Palé, a mejor montaje. No está claro si la nominación incluye también al artista en esta categoría, además del editor.
A partir de ahora los fans pueden votar en las 15 categorías hasta el 23 de agosto. La categoría de Push best new artist recibirá votaciones hasta el 30 de agosto, día de la gala. Los premios en teoría se celebrarán en el Radio City Music Hall, pero habrá que ver si de manera presencial o no.
