Hoy se celebra la 51 edición de los Premios de la Asociación de música country. Los ACM, antes de que comiencen, ya tienen la lista de actuaciones completa. Por cierto casi a la misma hora de celebran los iHeartRadio Music Awards también, así que dos focos el mismo día, algo que no suele suceder.
Hoy estarán actuando Jason Aldean, Dierks Bentley, Luke Bryan, Cam, Kenny Chesney, Eric Church, Brett Eldredge, Sam Hunt, Charles Kelley, Tim McGraw, Thomas Rhett, Blake Shelton, Chris Stapleton, Cole Swindell, Carrie Underwood, Keith Urban, Florida Georgia Line, Old Dominion, y lo dúos especiales de Kelsea Ballerini featuring Nick Jonas, Miranda Lambert featuring Billy Gibbons y Keith Urban, Dolly Parton y Katy Perry, Chris Young y Cassadee Pope, y Little Big Town featuring Trombone Shorty.
Por cierto dentro de los presentadores y además de Kiefer Sutherland, que acaba de estrenar su primer single, también estará vía satélite Garth Brooks y junto a ellos, Miss America Betty Cantrell, el actor Tom Hiddleston, que da vida a Hank Williams en I saw the light, Chris Janson, Jana Kramer, Martina McBride, Von Miller, Kip Moore, Kacey Musgraves, Nancy O’Dell, Jake Owen, Chase Rice, Darius Rucker, Cole Swindell, y Maddie & Tae.
Premios ya entregados son Chris Stapleton como mejor nuevo vocalista, Kelsea Ballerini, mejor nueva vocalista y Old Dominion mejor dúo o grupo nuevo. Eric Church se llevó el premio al vídeo del año por Mr. Misunderstood.
También Carrie Underwood, Glen Campbell, LBT, Crystal Gayle, Tanya Tucker y The Statler Brothers, serán homenajeados por la ACM por décimo año. Todo ello desde el MGM Grand Garden Arena en Las Vegas, Nevada, y presentado por Dierks Bentley y Luke Bryan.
