Después de conquistar los Critics Choice Awards con 8 premios, el homenaje a los musicales, La La Land, ha conseguido el mayor número de nominaciones, 7 a los Globos de Oro 2017. Los premios que entrega la Asociación de la prensa extranjera en Hollywood, coronaron de momento a la película de Ryan Gosling y Emma Stone.
Fueron Laura Dern, Anna Kendrick y Don Cheadle quienes anunciaron las categorías en el Beverly Hilton. También obtuvieron más de una nominación películas como Monnlight, Fences o Manchester frente al mar. Meryl Streep recibirá el Premio Cecil B. DeMille, por su trayectoria, ha ganado 8 Globos de Oro de 30 nominaciones. Los premios se entregarán el 8 de enero de 2017 en el Beverly Hilton en Beverly Hills, en una ceremonia que presentará el cómico Jimmy Fallon.
