John Legend, publicó su último trabajo, el quinto de estudio, Darkness and light, el pasado 2 de diciembre, que llegó al #14 en US y al #35 en UK. Además colabora en la nueva versión de la película Beauty and the beast, con el clásico Beauty and the beast junto a Ariana Grande. También colabora en la banda sonora de la película La La Land.
