Se entregaron los premios Grammy, con un triunfador por encima del resto, Jon Batiste que ganó el premio al álbum del año, además de 4 más. Silk Sonic se llevaron 4, incluidos canción y disco del año, estaban nominados solo para 4 premios, es decir pleno y Olivia Rodrigo se llevó 3, incluido mejor nuevo artista.
La ceremonia celebrada este año en el MGM Grand Garden Arena de Las Vegas, como buen dijo Trevor Noah, fue un gran concierto en el que además se entregó algún premio que otro. De 86 categorías, solo se entregaron en directo 9.
Si no contamos las actuaciones de la premiere, hasta 20 actuaciones tuvo la ceremonia. Foo Fighters que estaban anunciados para actuar, no pudieron hacerlo debido al fallecimiento de su batería Taylor Hawkins, hace poco más de una semana.
