Kate Bush lanzará un triple CD, cuádruple Vinilo en directo, de sus actuaciones en Londres en el Hammersmith Apollo en 2014. Los 22 conciertos, todos sold out, ofrecieron uno de los momentos más impactantes de un artista en directo en las últimas décadas. Bush llevaba sin actuar en directo desde 1979, cuando las entradas para los 15 conciertos se pusieron a la venta, volaron en minutos, tal fue la avalancha que se decidió alargarlo con 7 fechas más, que también se agotaron.
El resultado es Before the dawn y saldrán a la venta el próximo 25 de noviembre y amenaza con ser un blockbuster de ventas para las navidades, sobre todo en el Reino Unido. El concepto del concierto está respetado en la edición que sale a la venta. Tiene dos partes integrales, The ninth wave y A sky of honey.
La crítica alabó los directos, nombrando a Kate Bush la artista británica más genuina e importante de los últimos 40 años. Ahora todos podremos disfrutar de ese momento mágico, que como dice Bush, que produce el directo, nada ha sido vuelto a grabar o mezclar, tal cual salió en directo así aparece.
