Keith Urban, Kacey Musgraves y Chris Stapleton, brillan en los CMA Awards

Se celebró la 52 edición de los CMA Awards, en el Bridgeston Arena, de Nashville, y como siempre con Brad Paisley y Carrie Underwood a los mandos. Ya son 11 años los que llevan presentado la gala.

Los premios estuvieron muy repartidos, pero Keith Urban se llevó el más importante el de Entertainer of the Year, aunque Chris Stapleton siguió rascando premios, al llevarse el de vocalista del año y mejor canción y single. Desde su irrumpción hace algo más de dos años, no para de ganar premios.

Carrie Underwood fue la vocalista femenina del año superando a Miranda Lambert y Kacey Musgraves, aunque esta última se llevó el premio al álbum del año con Golden hour. Old Dominion fue el grupo vocal del año. Y Luke Combs, que casi no se lo creía cuando oyó su nombre, el Mejor nuevo artista.

Una de las mejores actuaciones de la noche fue la de Garth Brooks, que regresaba para cantar Stronger than me, homenaje a su mujer Trisha Yearwood. Kelsea Ballerini con Miss me more y Thomas Rhett con Life changes, también brillaron.
